From the Desk of Principal

Every administrator or head of academic institution may be a principal or director or chairman must have a vision regarding the future picture of the institution. Because without a vision the person’s activities cannot be guided to a desired goal of the institution. As a Principal of Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya I personally believe that I must have goal for the institution, I must work hard for the fulfilment of that goal.

Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya is a senior secondary school where a student spends the most significant as well as the most important period of his life in the aspect of shaping a child to manhood. Because whatever he learns in the years will help or harm him in his future academic as well as social life. We the family of Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya management accept the responsibility of moulding a youngster to a responsible citizen of the country. To make a responsible citizen of the country we believe discipline, teaching of moral values and cultivating respect to the age-old culture of the country is necessary. That is why we are stressing on teaching of discipline making them follow the moral values and implanting respect to our age-old culture along with emphasis on academic pursuit.

We are happy to proclaim that Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya has a ceaseless record of hundred percent success rate in all the streams of the college. Along with it we have been successful in making the college campus tobacco-free. It is because of our continuous effort that we have nearly succeeded in keeping our students free from mobile-mania in the college campus. Hope we the support of the guardians and the guidance of our respectable MD Sir Biswajit Phukan, we can make our college and exemplary institution.
